Albany and Munro kitchens are fully equipped with fridge / freezer; cooker; induction hob; dishwasher; washing machine; microwave; kettle; toaster; crockery (all dishwasher safe); cutlery; glasses; and all cooking implements . The labelled multi-switch next to the sink provides appliance power, with the switches next to the hob providing cooker, hob, and extractor power.
Cooker
The cooker has lots of different cooking and baking functions, including: conventional ; grill
; and fan
. The temperature must be set for all functions. A flashing thermometer indicates the oven is heating up, then a beep and a fixed thermometer indicates the oven is up to temperature.
Hob
The hob is induction and should only be used with the provided pots and pans. To turn on the hob, press the on/off button until the hob beeps and lights up. Then use the controls to select and set the temperature for the heat zone. You may need to press the buttons quite firmly until they register. Pans should be placed in the centre of the correct sized heat zone.
Dishwasher
Press and hold the on/off button to turn the dishwasher on. Press the P button to select a wash cycle (Eco setting recommended) and put a tablet in the dispenser. The dishwasher starts when the door is closed, and a red light on the floor indicates it is operating. Please check the spray arms turn freely before setting off. Larger plates may have to sit in the larger rack spaces to the side.
